X-men: Prodigy[/u]
An X-Men AU RPG[/i]
It is the year 2006, and it seems that Xavier's Dream has been realised. Senator Kelly has all but disappeared, and the Mutant Rights Bill has been passed in Goverment. Mutants have entered the workforce, and the public is increasingly accepting them as part of their own race, as fellow humans. Magneto, the once fearsome mutant terrorist, has died, and his Brotherhood have not plagued New York with their terror for a long time. Xavier has retired from his home in Westchester, moving to Scotland to be with his long time friend Moira McTaggart, and has left the mansion in the care of the ever-faithful Scott Summers.
However, there are rumours of a particular Anti Mutant group rising up, being led by a currently unknown, evangelistic mutant-hater. Acts by this grou, that began in the suburbs, are being covered more and more by the local media, publicity that they do not deserve. The group is frowned upon by human society, however it has also come to attention that Magneto's children, Pietro and Wanda, are regrouping their team in response to the gruesome acts, ever willing to show human society that mutants are not to be fooled with. It seems that the legacy of Magneto will never die - in fact, in his death, will it become even stronger?.
In response to the beginnings of the Brotherhood's resurgence, the long-serving X-man Cyclops hass once again brought his team of X-Men back together to counter the threat that the Brotherhood once again pose. Which side will you join, now that you have tasted freedom? Will you fight for your rights against the humans, and show them and the X-Men that you are not to be trodden on, that you indeed are superior? Or will you fight to keep the peace, to defend both mutants and humans from the terrorism and violence that the Brotherhood always carries in it's wake?
X-Men: Prodigy is a strong, new board with friendly and faithful members, and we are currently accepting players of both factions. We are a mature board, for mature players, and we expect quality writing from our members to make play as enjoyable as possible for everybody that is involved.
