The year is present day 2006 and we are not alone. Amongst us live beings with varying degrees of power. They have, in the past been known to use this to disrupt our generic society, yet they also seem to strive for independence. Due to the nature of their existence, they have come to be called Mutants. A despicable term used to label those that manifest powers outside of human philosophies. They hide out within our society; careful to keep there powers deeply hidden so that they can continue to lead a normal life. But what is normality, when society begins to change and with it the future of the Earth is left to balance precariously upon a pinpoint.
Revolution Academy, is the newly named Xavier Institute. The academy is a place for those to go to study. It is an establishment that rivals that of Harvard in terms of academic achievement. Many believe this to be due to some projected weird happenings within. Yet people have come and gone through the grounds of the large estate in New York, to find nothing out of the ordinary, and the rumours were dismissed. Little did they realise that the academy was a place for mutants to shelter from the harsh tribulations set upon them by the restrictions of society. It was a place for them to gather and manifest their powers in a way that would benefit both themselves and others like them.
The mutants harbored no ill will toward human kind, in terms of wanting vengeance. They just desired peace and harmony, where both races could be considered as equals. Some, however did not see things this way, and thus left the academy to create their own factions, believing themselves to be outside the ruling of a human life, or the rules of a mutant existence set by Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of Revolution Academy.
Thus when it came time for everything to change, the academy changed along with everything else. Xavier stepped down from his office and went off; claiming that something momentous was about to happen. No one tried to stop him, and none knew what he was talking about. The academy was left to be headed by the X-Men, who would continue to teach the new mutants the way that their life should go, and to forgive the pains cast upon them, rather than wish to destroy those that oppressed them.
Will you join them?
At present we are searching for people to play X-men and Students, both canon and original. We are also now accepting applications for human characters.
